Team & notifications

Add another admin, understand what triggers a notification, and message drivers or other admins directly.

Adding another admin

The Teampage shows how many seats you've used — Starter includes 1 (just you), Growth includes 10, Fleet is unlimited.

  1. Fill in Name and Email, then submit with Add admin.
  2. A temporary password appears once, in a banner — share it with them immediately, it won't be shown again. They'll be asked to change it on first login, and they skip the usual email-confirmation step since you've already vouched for that address.

If you're at your plan's seat limit, the form is replaced with an upgrade prompt linking to Billing. There's no separate, lower-permission "dispatcher" role today — every admin you add has the same access as you, including dispatch, fleet, and billing.

Notifications

The bell icon in the header shows your unread count and checks for updates about once a minute. It lists your 8 most recent notifications — click one to mark it read, or use View all for the full history.

What actually sends a notification:

  • A driver changes duty status
  • A driver logs an expense (needs your confirmation)
  • You record a payment for a driver
  • A scheduled maintenance task comes due
  • A defect is reported on an inspection
  • Rest reminders, sent once per continuous duty window to both the driver and admins

Chat

On the Chat page, + Chat starts a direct message with anyone in the company — any admin or driver can message anyone else. + Group(admins only) creates a named group conversation, with a "select all drivers" shortcut for company-wide announcements. Messages refresh every few seconds, and unread counts show as a badge per conversation.
