Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Haulstats (the "Service"), a web-based dispatch and fleet management platform for trucking companies. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who this applies to

These Terms apply to the company that registers an account ("you," "your company") and to any user your company authorizes to access the Service under that account — including drivers and other staff you add. You're responsible for the actions of every user you add to your account, and for making sure they're authorized to agree to these Terms on your company's behalf.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until canceled. The Starter plan includes a 30-day free trial with no card required; Growth and Fleet require a payment method at signup. You can cancel or change plans anytime from the Billing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide refunds for partial periods. All payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or another company's data; reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the Service; upload malicious code; or use the driver location-tracking feature without a lawful basis to do so under employment or applicable privacy law in your jurisdiction (that's your responsibility as the employer, not ours).

5. Your data

You own the operational data you put into the Service — shipments, driver and customer records, documents, and everything else your company creates. We don't sell it, and we don't share it with any other Haulstats customer; every company's data is isolated from every other company's on the platform. 6. Termination

You can cancel your subscription anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that remain unpaid past a reasonable grace period. On request, we'll provide a reasonable window to export your data before permanent deletion following account closure.

7. Service "as is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. The Service is not a certified ELD or FMCSA Hours-of-Service compliance tool — the duty-status feature is an internal convenience only, not a regulatory compliance product.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haulstats will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you (e.g. by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
